To even unlock Coda you need to beat all characters mode, which is beating all 4 zones (now 5 with Amplified DLC) in a row.Īlso to add with Aria's story sequences, she has a unique boss as well now iirc? Like she gets a super boss, so after beating all the zones with her, you have to fight an even harder boss with her restrictions of take no damage/miss no beat. I don't think the devs expect anyone to beat the game as Coda. They're a combination of Aria (missing a beat is death), Monk (can't pick up gold, I think items as well) and Bolt (double speed). I won't ever unlock Coda or even beat the game properly with Aria (even after they made her a lot easier, CoH Aria is closer to old her without an extra life). Necrodancer has this but with characters.
