So far, the Spider-Man solo series has shown us what led to Miles becoming a fully-fledged Avenger, which we see in Mark Waid’s All-New, All-Different Avengers.

At the conclusion of Secret Wars, the primary Earth was left with two Spider-Mans (Spider…Men?): the OG Peter Parker and the insanely popular Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales. Marvel has been really pushing these two in a lot of their material lately. But now, we’re privy to an official announcement and some cover previews of the two-parter which concludes in Spider-Gwen #15, written by Jason Latour with art by Robbi Rodriguez. Peter Parker’s Spider-Man played a prominent role in Civil War II and Spider-Gwen made her animated debut not long ago, so multiple Spider-details are in motion.īack in July, the Marvel NOW! catalog revealed that Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen would share a romantic crossover starting with Spider-Man #12, written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by Sara Pichelli. Though something of a tertiary pair in the growing number of Spider-People, Miles and Gwen have risen in popularity. The inevitable team-up between Gwen Stacy’s Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales’s Spider-Man has been upgraded to a hook-up coming this January from Marvel Comics.
